Hello my friend,
If you’re reading this, you’re meant to. You’re where you should be. Let me say that again, you’re where you need to be. I know that may seem pretty terrible to someone out there, maybe pretty hard to hear for a lot of us, if not most of us. So how could I say that? Let me just say, because I’ve been there. Sometimes we can see the silver lining shining in the distance, sometimes it looks more like crumbled foil than anything beautiful or magical at all. I’m going to go on a very narrow fence and say that crumbled foil is spectacular too.

You are spectacular. And you are not crumbled foil.

Your life, your past, anything that you’ve done or that’s been done to you might feel pretty squished up, pressed, heck, even reflecting all kinds of carnival like images. But babe, those aren’t you. You may not see it right now. Yeah, there may have been that one thing, that one time, but the truth is, your real image is the smoothed out, clarity that shines no matter what the creases caused. You see, Jesus sees you past those folds, those tears, the burns and scars. He sees You. And that’s the you this world needs. Right now. No matter where or how you find yourself. I’m praying for you friend, and the love that’s been given to me in these hard times is the love I share with you. You’re not alone. It’s okay to tell him how you feel, and ask him how he feels about you too.
